my BT won't appear... Anyone an idea?
my BT won't appear... Anyone an idea?
Are you trying to use the motherboard's onboard BT? Unfortunately, you have to buy a usb dongle, as mentioned in the Customac Buyers' Guide. If you're already using one of the recommended BT dongles, people will probably need more information than that if they're going to able to help you.
Did you reboot using the UniBeast USB thumb drive, too?Hey guys, I need some help with my build. This is my first hackintosh but I'm not a stranger to customizing, having chipped Xboxes, hacked DVRs, rooted android phones, etc.
My build is running a GA-H97N-WIFI board, Intel Core i3-4360 CPU, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB RAM, Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD, and Corsair CX 500 Watt PSU.
I have made my USB thumb drive with Mavericks and Unibeast from a MacBook Pro and had zero issues. Assembled my machine and booted from the thumb drive with Chimera with success. Installed Mavericks to the point of the first auto reboot (first half of install). My problem comes when it reboots and I select Mavericks to boot as the how to states. I'm stuck at the Apple logo with the spinning wheel...
I tested the WiFi/BT card's BT capability, but wasn't getting any joy. So, I removed the card (with the intention of finding a card that worked later on), and used the IOGear BT 4.0 USB dongle in the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide, Accessories section. It works OK. You still needed a wired keyboard (or a Logitech K750 Mac keyboard) to get into the BIOS, however.Shaderone said:my BT won't appear... Anyone an idea?

Yep, this is the wrong thread. There are several Guides and User Builds that deal with the H97M-DH3 configurations. Please post your problem there. TIA.Hi,

I'm glad the guide worked for you.
WRT the audio...check to see that your audio cable is is a) securely plugged into the motherboard and speakers, b) the cable is not running by any electrical device on it's way to the speaker, and c) the cable is of good quality such that it adequately protected from interference. It could also be a component in the case that is generating the electrical noise. BTW, what audio driver are you using?
