There appears to be some confusion between custom Mac and CustoMac.
This is a site for those that install Apple operating systems onto non-Apple hardware.
There are many support sites for Apple products elsewhere.

Bummer. Thanks

I've tried getting Mohave or High Sierra running on some of the old Macs and it is harder than building a Hackintosh.

I finally gave up on my old Mac Pro (4,1) and turned it into a Windows 10 machine. New life for those old Mac Pros. Run current Windows software. This Mac Pro happens to be a Dual Xeon E5520@ 2.27Ghz and has 64 GB of RAM. I did put an SSD in there, but it is running at the older 3.0 Gbps speed.

ps. Irony...you can install a Virtual Machine and run Mohave under Windows just fine. Unfortunately, I didn't see what VM engine they were running, but it seemed just as fast as normal.
