Spec.
Asus Rog Strix Z370-i itx gaming replaced dw1830 module.
High Sierra 10.13.6


I see the bcm2045s0 in System Info and IORegistryExplorer But Bluetooth Not Showing up in System Preferences.

But!!

Please help me.

Installed kexts list.

I Changed Bluetooth Card. It's Solved.

Hi I have the same BCM2045A0 card. Did the card not show up, and what new Bluetooth card worked?

BCM94360CS2 works native i bought from amazon.

I had the same problem. My DW1830 stopped working after 10.14.6 update and restoring macos (and changing Clover EFI version) from backup.

After some experiments, I ordered native Mac BT card and M2 extension to replace DW1830.

Today I found solution that worked (make sure that DW1830 card is visible in IORegistryExplorer / connected to USB port):

1. Remove BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareData.kext from Clover EFI. For some reason, injection stopped working but Brcm drivers worked earlier as injected on previous Clover version/MacOS.
2. Place BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext in Library/Extensions
3. Correct permissions:

sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/BrcmPatchRAM2.kext
sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext

sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/BrcmPatchRAM2.kext/
sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/Extensions/BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext

4. Update cache: sudo kextcache -i /

I am using BrcmPatchRAM2 v. 2.2.10 on Mojave 10.14.6 Supplementary Update 2
No BT patches in Clover configuration.

Device details in IORegistryExplorer (Brcm firmware list contains this idProduct and idVendor)
