Same here. After looking into the changes necessary to use UEFI with my (presently) BIOS-based multi-booting system, I'm disinclined to install El Capitan and Clover. OP: Is your system actually booting El Capitan using Chameleon? If so, then please post some details as to HOW SO? Thanks.

There are at least two ways to dual boot an older OS with El Capitan/Clover:
  • Change the older OS to boot with Clover, and use Clover to boot both
  • Install El Capitan with Clover legacy, and in legacy mode it can boot other legacy OS's

Of course, the OP may have done it a different way, too.

OK. Thanks. So, the first way is to convert my Windows (and Linux) OS partitions to EFI, a thrash I'm not excited about, but the second lets me keep things as is. I'd thought the latter possible, but wasn't clear on that count, or how reliable that approach was.
