Hi Team,

Here is my goal:

Build a dual-purpose DAW (Hackintosh) and Gaming/VR machine (Windows 10) inside the same rig.

The specs will be (owned parts marked with *):
  • CPU: i7-9900k
  • GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition w/ iCX Cooler *
  • Motherboard: ?? (Need the most SATA and most USB ports/controllers)
  • RAM: 64GB DDR4
  • Audio Card: RME HDSPe-AIO PCIe *
  • Storage: 8 SATA SSD's (4 for DAW, 4 for Gaming PC) *
Essentially I want to give my machine two brains. When I boot into MacOS, I want the computer to have access to the RME Audio Card, the appropriate 4 SSDs, and my music-based USB devices, etc. and when I boot to Windows 10, I want the computer to ignore the RME Audio card and access its own appropriate 4 SSDs, and ignore the music-based USB devices (I can achieve the USB selections through powered hubs with switches, that's less of a concern).

Does anyone have any experience doing something along these lines?
