I've followed all the steps and installed 10.11.6 El Capitan on my system and I still don't have audio running properly. My main reason for doing this besides my undying love for OSX was that I am a video editor and I need audio in able to do that from my Hackintosh machine.
I have tried to manually download and install the AC1150 drivers which is what my motherboard calls for but it refuses to locate anything that I plug in. I am currently trying to get a speaker system working that is hooked up directly to the motherboard via an aux cable but Mac's system prefs are only locating an airplay option that isn't even viable cause I'm on a wired network.
Please.. before I pull all my hair out.. help..
