Drivers vanished from system preferences

Hi guys,

Some time ago and by no apparent reason, my drivers' icons vanished from System preferences in Yosemite 10.10.3. This lead to having to reinstall my Wacom tablet drivers every time I restart the computer, it is as if the computer deletes/forgets the data on those drivers on any reboot.

Any idea as to how to proceed with this? Should I reinstall Yosemite?

There does seem to have been some issues back in 2014 with certain tablets and the language used. English seems to be better supported.

Thanks for your reply Adrian. I made sure to look online and the forum before posting any new thread. None of that solves the issue.
It happened at the same time as Flash player and Shockwave drivers also dissapeared from the bottom line of System prefs, so there must be an issue with that I am unable to work out.
