downgrade GA-Z87-UD3H BIOS

downgrade GA-Z87X-UD3H BIOS ?

Hi,

I search but cannot find any information about BIOS downgrade, or I maybe missed it......

I have a GA-Z87X-UD3H, I installed the latest bios F9.
Since the OSX boot is extremly slow I do have 10.9.3 on an SSD

Is it a known issue ?

So I decided to downgrade the Bios to F8 or F8m
but cannot because of " This Motherboard is protected from using this BIOS"

is there a way to downgrade such board ?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Well, because my system was so slow to boot I decided to Clone my boot disk with a 10.9.3 which was working fine.... then I was not able to boot anymore

I then reformat the boot drive and restore the clone again.... and it works so I really don't know what my my issue. hopefully all is working back as a charm. Happy also to have a working clone disk.

My second question is still valid, is there a way to downgrade a Firmware of a Gigabyte board ?
