Thanks! Is it possible to dual boot and use parallels? I want to use both. Would I need two copies of windows? Also I want to use one 1TB hdd between the two OS's. Is it possible to access the hdd from windows for files that are on lion and vice versa? Thank you

You will be able to use the 1Tb HDD between the two OS's but you will need to have it formatted for 2 different sized drives.
I'd say 500Gb/500Gb.
Because OS X requires OS X Journaling format, Windows won't be able to read off it.
However, I'm very certain that OS X will be able to read the Windows Formatting of NTFS.
