Does the TP Link WDN4800 wifi card works in Big Sur?

could you send me those Kexts or show me where to get them from? There’s so many versions of that Kext floating around, so it’s a bit confusing

What was the ordering you used in your config.plist?

did you have to change anything in S/L/E or L/E?

I used the files from the person's link - it DLs a folder with the kexts inside. Place those in your kext folder and then add the lines to your config file to enable them. Good luck!

HS80211Family
AirportAtheros

These are placed in kexts folder in OC, as I used opencore. No need to touch S/L/E or L/E.

If you are using clover, then I think these should be placed in S/L/E.

Tried everiting but still no luck.
used the prescribed kexts HS80211Family and AirPortAtheros40, and add on config.plist.
Tried to change in AirPortAtheros40.kext the <string> with pci168c,2c / pci168c,2e / pci168c,30. still no wifi.
I'll send you some pictures: I see the card in DPCIManager, I can't find it in "about this mac". I see the icon.
What do you suggest?

EDIT: Sorry was my fault, as sriHacPro wrote, I have to put the 2 kext on config.plist in the correct order, first
HS80211Family then AirportAtheros. Works perfect!!!!

The other solution is to acquire the Wifi/BT adapters that are natively supported
For motherboards with built in Wifi BT is M.2 NGFF WLAN BCM94360NG
You will have to install it in place of your current Wifi/BT module.

For those that have TP-Link WDN4800 PCI Card use a Fenvi T919 or another version from Fenvi

Both are Natively supported by macOS including Big Sur so far

They should be available from Amazon or Newegg

My TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 card is no longer working with Big Sur 11.5.2 (20G95). Running OpenCore 0.7.1 and have enabled both of these KEXT's in config.plist:

Anyone have an ideas for how to get this running in Big Sur 11.5.2?

Just replaced my TP-Link TL-WDN4800 with a Fenvi FV-T919 PCI-E Hackintosh wifi Card BCM94360CD Dual Band Bluetooth 4.0 Card and now I have native Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 in Big Sur and Monterey.
