Does anyone know a way to get xcode 4.4 working on snow leopard

Can anybody help me with this because I'm developing on an iPod touch on ios 6 and I can't update to lion
I am on 10.6.2
 
if i'm not mistaken, xcode 4.2 is the latest that works on SL and you need 10.6.8
 
Ok so I hackintoshed my other computer and im on 10.6.8 now but I can't open the Xcode installer, or the GIMP
