I use a MSI StarCam 370i, it works also as a mic, no need for extra drivers.

Whoa! Everybody uses Logitech

Including me, mine is Logitech C300, just works OOB and flawlessly,

both cam and built-in mic.

I use the 27" ACD webcam, works OOB via USB plug. Has mic, speakers and cam.

I'll trade you for a Logitech webcam?!?!!

I'm using Apple's iSight camera (FireWire), which was discontinued in 2006. But I finally found a used one for ~100 bucks on eBay. Works quite well (OOTB), but the image quality ain't that good :-/ (Well, it's ok for a few Skype calls + stereo mic)
