In Mac OS 10.14.5, it is not possible to install the system on the 970 evo plus, but now the system does not hang and is not excluded when the 970 evo plus is connected. I even succeeded in making a copy of the system through carbon copy cloner, but the system was not started. Pure installation and recovery through the time machine were also unsuccessful. You can now use the drive for files, but not for the system.

Nice to hear of that.
What about the speed performance in 10.14.5 as a file storage drive? thx

At speed testing, he gave the following results a reading speed of 3200 records speed of 3000. I do not use this disk for files so I do not know how stable it will work for someone else and what speeds will be for other users. Perhaps someone managed to install the system and they work stably, need more feedback from the owners of 970 evo plus.

I see. Thanks buddy. Have a nice day

Here are a couple of alternative NVMe drives that do work with macOS. WD Black is 500 GB and the HP is 512 GB but larger sizes are available. Both will perform fairly close to the EVO Plus but cost significantly less and still have 5 year warranties. The HP EX950 is the best price at 88 USD. If you simply want a fast macOS boot drive then get that.

So even though these are not in the Buyer's Guide and aren't made by Samsung you can still use these for macOS.
The best Deal on the Samsung 970 Pro right now is on Amazon and Newegg. $159 for a 512 GB version. This will have the most durabiltiy over the long haul. If you will use it as a "scratch drive" in a video editing system, the Pro is the best choice. It will hold up to heavy reading and writing of large files on a regular basis.

Friends, great news after updating the firmware drive system is installed and running:clap::headbang:. Quick instructions on how to upgrade your firmware:
1-Download the new firmware on samsung site
2-Write it on the USB drive (I burned through Rufus on Windows 7)
3-Boot the system from the flash drive, you will fall into the installer for updating the firmware
4-Follow the instructions, after a successful upgrade, restart the computer
5-You can install the system on 970 evo plus
