Wondering if this problem is solved in 10.14.4?

It's now worse in my case, before I could use it as a secondary storage, now it just reboot after logging in...

I think the problem is in the drivers, need to wait for the Samsung to update them

I also recently went through this exercise. No luck with the Plus drives. See this link for speed tests.

Certainly seems not to like 10.13 even after Carbon Copy etc. I can't run 10.14 as still no Nvidia support,
had to swap over to 970Pro instead.

Has anybody else tried this ‘success story’ above to get 970 EVO Plus working internally on their machines? My brand new beautiful stick is still an expensive paper weight....was holding out for some kind of update....

Not sure what there is to try there - other posts suggest that using in a USB 3.1 enclosure is fine, he's managed to boot from it but it doesn't say how long he's been booted or how much data he's written! :)

I'm currently booted with the NTFS formatted 970 Evo Plus installed and I haven't crashed yet (10.14.4), but NTFS doesn't allow writing anyway, so I wouldn't really expect it to crash.

I couldn't see any updated kexts in 10.14.4 which are related to NVMe, so I don't think Apple have made any fixes yet for this issue, I think we still need to wait for a Samsung firmware update :(
