Got my drive a while ago and successfully installed Mojave. No problems here with the latest firmware.. "knocking on wood"
So, it's been more than two weeks now without crash.Haven't got any crash since I've stopped letting Source Tree hanging in background for days.
But it was just 5 days since then, so I wouldn't call issue solved yet.
Have you been watching system temperatures closely with tool like iStat?Nope with update to 2B2QEXM7. Run smooth for 2-3 weeks now back to unstable a little bit back and forth. Random black-outs. So long term stability seems to be still an issue. I'm also on the newest macOS 10.14.6.
Also for my taste it's running quite hot after a while.
How did you check the firmware version of the drive? I just bought a 970 EVO Plus to use as a secondary drive in my first build and I’m trying to figure out if/how I need to install the firmware update.Got 970 Evo Plus 500GB and downloaded latest 10.14.6 and installed without any problem. No problem so far and the drive came with latest firmware 2B2QEXM7. I don't what driver and test should I perform to make sure it's working correctly. Please suggest me if I missed anything? Thank you.
