Hi, I'm relatively new in the hackintosh scene. I was able to install El Capitan on my hard drive, and installed the NVIDIA Web Drivers for my GPU, but the system will only boot if I have the nv_disable=1 boot flag entered. I don't understand why the driver won't work for me. When the machine boots with the drivers disabled, the performance is pretty choppy. When I attempt to boot with the drivers enabled, I get to a point where the system hangs and then the screen becomes totally distorted. I think that the line this occurs on mentions something about power management and is NVIDIA related. Like I said, I am new and the screen is tough to see when distorted so I may be wrong. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
