Disable ATI card detection

I am in a very close setup as you (wollvieh); ud5h with radeon HD7750
But I managed to have Intel Graphics HD 4000 working by installing Lion 10,7,4 without the radeon HD card (unibeast+multibeast+bridge helper 5,0);
then after inserting the Radeon HD 7750 card in pci-express port, and switching to GraphicsEnabler=No , I've set in bios:

Init Display First == IGFX
first boot partition is OSX GPT formatted drive (i've got a windows 7 dual boot)

If I keep GraphicsEnabler=Yes, the boot hangs since OSX can't recognize the radeon HD 7750.

One issue still bugging me is that QE/CI is not working for Intel Graphics HD 4000 in my setup;
tried the injection method in the post you mention but it didn't work out.
I've considered disabling pci-express through DSDT (page 423 of pch data sheet) but the knowledge required is way above me.
Did you manage to have HD4000 working?

i know, obvious answer man .. but hd 4000 will be when 10.7.5 / ml comes out, so still looking for a solution ;)

edit: graphicsenabler no + dsdt / gfx string injection might work .. also i found this yesterday, hd 4000 with working qe/ci (haven't tested it yet):

Found the solution, disable GraphicsEnabler, put gfx string injection in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist and done, also used Mac mini definition (not sure if it has something to do).

EDIT: Just found out that the Mac mini definition makes the trick.

EDIT: This Applies for HD4000 to make your gfx work make sure your inject the correct device for your model card.

Hello,

I'm pretty new in hackintosh world and I want to know what are the detailled process to follow to do it.

Actually, my hackintosh works fine with HD4000 but I want to add a GC for my windows boot (HD 7870) without re-install Mountain Lion, ...

Is it possible to do it in "post-installation"?
I choose unfortunately "Mac Pro" at the begin. Can I change it easily?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Yes it is possible, just use multibeast the easy way to change to "Mac mini"

When the ATI card is kept undetected the fan stays at the same speed it was at during boot-up. Is there anyway to enable proper power/fan speed modulation without proper ati7xxx kexts?
