Direct Update to OS X El Capitan Using Clover

Everything worked like a charm for me! Stoked to have El Cap on my MacBook Pro and my Hack.

Awesome ... I update my clover yosemite 10.10.5 to El Capitan 10.11 using the guide above.
hardware GA-z77x-ud5h . The only problem --- NO sound.
What I can do to get my sound back ?

Same system...upgrading now. But I ditched the internal sound a looooong time ago. Went with an external USB audio.

Crossing fingers no problems.

Confirmed direct update using Clover.

Added FakeSMC kext and Ethernet kext to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.11 folder.
Added RT Variables.

Ran the update.

On reboot, selected Boot OS X Install From... and finished the update process.

Ran Toleda's ALC1150 patch to get audio working.

This was on my z97x-UD5H build.

I added the flag to see the verbose mode , and I find the following error ...

That error is not an El Capitan error, it is a Clover error. Would have occurred with the Yosemite install.
Fix: Clover Installer, select drivers64UEFI/OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi

thank you sir. I got sound working ... thank you ... one more question ... if you are not busy ...
Sound goes away after computer wakes up . If I shut down and restart it's ok until goes back to sleep.
Any suggestion ?

What hardware USB audio do you use ?

Same setup as you two. I too have been running USB audio since mid '13 or so. I went with (amazon) B000KW2YEI, but B00OJ5AV8I will work fine too.

Have you guys tried to do a clean install via USB? I can't get the USB to get into the setup screen.

Not a new problem with El Capitan, search works very well.
No Audio After Sleep/Wake - Realtek ALC AppleHDA
Note: CodecCommander solution does not work from EFI

There's no such thing as a RtVariables section in my config.plist, where I'm supposed to add this then? I updated to the latest Clover version.
