I’m getting stuck at Apple logo when select the install high sierra option from Clover. I’ve run the terminal command to install with HFS+ and no APFS conversion.

The error I'm getting stuck at when booting in verbose mode is:

BSD process name corresponding to current thread: Unkown
Attempting system restart...MACH Reboot
Attempting system restart...MACH Reboot
Attempting system restart...MACH Reboot

My spec is: GA-Z77X-UP5-TH | i5 3570K | GeForce GTX 660 Ti
My Clover version is: 4297

I’ve also zipped up my kexts and clover config along with a log of the folder structure on my EFI partition.

Try:
config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/FixHeaders_20000000=true

FixHeaders.png

Get the same problem.
But all goes smoothly after replace my 10.13 SSD with HDD (clone) and launch installer there.

BTW, the Clover menu entry "Install macOS from ..." didn't appear, while it was there during SSD installation.

Thanks @BreBo.

My Clover Config options under ACPI are slightly different but I think I've found the correct option. I'm using Clover Configurator Classic Edition 4.56.0.0.

I now seem to be getting stuck at an error for:

iMac.local com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.WindowServer) <Notice>: Service only ran for 0 seconds
Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.

I've uploaded my updated config.plist and a screen shot of the error.

You managed to finish the install of High Sierra?
If you did so, perhaps the Nvidia web drivers are the trouble.
This is what I would do:

At Clover, press F1 and see how to enable all entries in clover. If you enable all entries, it should appear "Recovery Partition" for OSx. Boot into that and open Terminal. Entry that at Terminal (Change XXXX by what you named your boot drive):

Code:
rm -R /Volumes/XXXX/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext

touch /Volumes/XXXX/Library/Extensions/

reboot

Try to boot into OSx. If you get the access to the system let us know.

Same for me coming from Sierra, I managed once to upgrade I installed Clover ALC 892! after that it didn't boot anymore!
So I reinstalled my System with the Sierra usb, then I tried upgrading ending up with this error!
I did´t change any setting since than!!! If there is no easy fix I´d Stay on Sierra cause I think there are not that big benefit´s or changes! Please try to help me as quick as possible, cause I want to Install all my Programs back!! many thanks in advance!!

Is it an issue with the OS X Extended format in High Sierra?
I'm on ElCapitan right now and I'm afraid updating might break everything

I can’t remember how I fixed it as it was more than 2 years ago now. I think the post #6 may have been the final solution. Hope that helps.
