Hi guys,

Hi have a xps 9370 (2018) with i7-855U and a 4k touchscreen display.

I tried vanilla installation following the laptop guide and:
  • I was able to boot to installer
  • I was able to finish the first part of installation
  • Unfortunately The installation freezes at "about 11 minutes remaining.."
Is there anyone having the very same laptop who would be so kind to share its EFI folder, in order to complete the installation?

Thanks in advance!!

Hi, Is there anyone still working on this thread?

I'm new in this world and trying to install hackintosh onto my XPS 9370. I'm using some clover files in this thread but no luck. i can boot to install process but fail to install MacOS X.

My XPS is 9370 i7-8550U, 16GB RAM, UHD 620, 4K Touch.

Can you guys help me by update some new clover file?
Thanks so much!

@Darkbaron: I am working on a OC EFI.

Actually works:
iGPU: Metal, VRAM 1536MB

Not working, need some fixes:
  • Audio: No Device shown in System Preferences Sound.
  • USB-C: Only the right one is working.

I used your config, all works good, but kernel_task generates high cpu load. Any ideas how to solve this?

could be voodooi2c issue as it may be using polling mode and not gpio
