Hi, this is my first ever post and my first attempt on a hackintosh laptop.

On this machine I have only Arch Linux installed with GRUB at the moment, I have some knowledge in how unix works in general. I have also disabled Intel Virtualization and C-state from the previous guides I have dug around and found from 2015.

I used the config.plist and clover folders from https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/dell-xps-13-5th-generation-setup-9343-help.163689/ post #87.

Something else I have done was to use Clover Configurator (Vibrant) to update Clover to the latest version.

Yet it goes into a infinite boot-loop, so I made the laptop boot with verbose enabled and this is what I have been able to capture before it just shuts down by itself and reboots.

Any suggestions and help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oops, the quality is a bit low for some reason, here is a should be HD version on my web server.
I am not sure if the rules doesn't allow that so if anyone knows how I could post something in its original resolution would also be appreciated.

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting"

...ok, so I am reading the FAQ and I know for a fact this laptop is compatible, so I again read your guide and followed step by step, with the addition of another guide which told me to use a custom config.plist.

I again went to the relevant Sierra help page and looked up anything that would cause a panic, which led me to update VoodooPS2Controller.kext.

I also checked the guide for my laptop since that is where I started.

I do not have Windows, so I am not worrying about that section.

I have also applied the patch using custom EFI shell to change DVMT-prealloc using something on the lines of setup_var.

For the GPU I do not know how to patch the AppleIntelBDWGraphicsFramebuffer but the guide I followed for the specific laptop didn't so I didn't worry about that either.

The rest of the FAQ consists of post boot things so I am not even there yet.

What am I missing?
