Dell XPS 9300 4k Monterey OC

Hi,

Im trying to install Monterey on my Dell XPS 9300 4k.

I can get get to the gui setup screen but then its asking for a mouse.

Anyone know what kext I need to get trackpad working?

VoodooPS2Controller doesn’t work.

I’m running the latest OC 0.7.8

Specs
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-1065G7
  • GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7
  • DISPLAY: 13.4”, 4K UHD+ (3840 x 2400), IPS
  • STORAGE: 1TB SSD
  • RAM: 16GB LPDDR4x, 3733 MHz

Thanks for your reply.

I managed to get it installed and boot to the desktop. Just need to find the time to add the rest of my kext to the config.plist to get wifi, bluetooth and sound working.
 
I got everything working apart from the graphics. The graphics are stuck at 35mb. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?

Ice Lake graphics

Have look at this working build here (which has your CPU+GPU). You will likely need the device property values for the IGPU here, in particular the AAPL,ig-platform-id and whatever else is underneath it. > https://github.com/Ardentwheel/OpenCore-Hasee-X57S1

To resolve the low 35MB VRAM issue we usually have to enable the framebuffer patch and associated data under the IGPU properties. It looks like this (the ones shown in red box):
