Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

See attached zip file.

Provide output (in Terminal):

Yes.

Note that power management and ACPI are things you already had to do before for Chimera/Chameleon. Only the location of the ACPI files have changed (and a few settings in config.plist instead of org.chameleon.Boot.plist).

I will possibly re-install and review those posts more carefully.

Nothing wrong here with the graphics implementation (from ioreg, QE/CI working).
But you have CPU PM to implement, backlight control to implement, etc.

Also, this ioreg does not correspond to the EFI/Clover you provided. Looks like perhaps the EFI/Clover is from HDD, but you're booting from USB.

Note that the config.plist you have in EFI/Clover (as provided) is for HD3000, not HD4000. But the config.plist you're using on USB is correct (eg. injecting correct ig-platform-id).

Right... without CPU PM implemented, I kept receiving a panic related to power management. So i've had to boot from USB. I have re-installed OS X (basically started over) and will ensure that I copy over only the correct config.plist by using the one on the USB since we already know it's correct.

Your EFI/Clover on HDD has CPU PM. Perhaps you need -xcpm.

Okay... stupid question! What is -xcpm?

Google searches return nothing...

EDIT: or is that a boot flag...?

I'm pretty sure you needed it before,... (you should review your Chameleon configuration).

It is commonly needed with your CPU. It is a kernel flag. Kernel flags are specified in config.plist/Boot/Arguments.

Or you used ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin by using a Sandy Bridge SMBIOS...

I dont remember seeing ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin before with Yosemite. I did use "Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement" from the Multibeast installer, along with the Macbook Pro 8,1 system definition. I'm looking back through my installation guide, but i'm not seeing anything like what you mentioned. Should I add "-xcpm" in the config.plist file?

MacBookPro8,1 is Sandy SMBIOS, which will force ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin.

Interesting! I do remember we had issues with my power management, and ended up having to use 8,1. So should I try using ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin? And how would I go about doing that?

Just set config.plist/SMBOIS as MacBookPro8,1. Then you'll be using CPU PM with ACPI_SMC...
Use Clover Configurator to set the SMBIOS. You might want to use your original serial#.
