Been trying to use a 755 SFF, insert iboot, then pop in the mac install disk, hot f5, choose mac install disk then I get ACPI error, kernel panic and I have to reboot. So frustrating, any idea what I may be doing wrong?

I followed the guide for snow leopard but I am having problems. It won't boot on its own after running multibeast. The link in the guide is dead.

As long as you've got your Ethernet working and it's set as En0 then you should be able to go to the
MAS and download Yosemite. So use iBoot to boot again then update to 10.6.8 with the combo update.
Next sign in to the App Store with your Apple ID. Download Yosemite, make the UB installer.

i tried that but it doesnt work. after upgrading to 10.6.8 i try to d/l the yosemite but it wont let me. Says it cant verify my machine. about htis mac reports my machine as a macpro 3.1

multibeast is supposed to install a boot loader. it says it does but then the machine deosn't boot. I tried chimera and chamelon and they both report failures with installing the bootloader clover says it succeeds but then on reboot it comes to the boot failure.

i would like a bootloader other than iboot dvd that actually works please.

iBoot works fine - I used 3.3.0 to boot Snow Leopard Retail. Downloaded 10.6.8 combo update. Installed option using MultiBeast 3.10.1 - then set up my ethernet using the link in this comment/thread:

I used the following basic MultiBeast Options for Snow Leopard: EasyBeast & hnak's AppleIntelE1000e Ethernet

After a reboot you should be able to boot from HDD/SSD and sign in to the App Store and download Yosemite using your Apple id.

What processor and graphics are you using?

EDIT

Here is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist from a Dell Optiplex 760, Bios A02 running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with an Intel E8400 processor and Asus EAH5570 GPU.

I have highlighted in Bold text the additional information that pertains to my board. Your text will be similar in nature but not identical.
