Dell optiplex 3050

Hi all,

I'm having post instalation issues with this setup

Dell Optiplex 3050
- Intel Core i5 (7th Gen) 7500 / 3.4 GHz
- Intel HD Graphics 630
- Motherboard 08NPPY (unfortunatly there are not detailed info about this motherboard on google)
- OSX Sierra

I'm trying to install sierra on this hardware. Boot from pendrive and instalation process are both ok.

On first boot, i'm installing clover and intel hd 6xx drivers using multibeast, but on first reboot im having a kernel panic (reboot loop)

@Fbraz, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card.
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard.

Profiles are mandatory so that others can assist you.

DVMT Pre-Allocated setting in BIOS is likely set incorrectly. Required: 64mb or larger
If you can't raise the DVMT value in the BIOS settings:
Use Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/.

I've installed the kexts on bootloader, now startup hangs at the very beginning!

At Clover Boot Screen select Options > PCI devices > USB Ownership and USB Injection

For permanent solution check Inject USB + FixOwnership in Clover's config.plist

I've edited config.plist as you mentioned, this issue is OK now.

but its only booting using a fake ig-platform-id otherwise i'm having a kernel panic

i've tried to rebuild kext cache too, same problem.

Probably is missing something but i cant find what!

It's the same error as you've started with, see post #2.

kexts are into /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/

Need to put into /System/library too?

Hi, i was analizyng the kexts i have installed, maybe i have a wrong one

Non Apple kexts should not be installed in /System/Library/Extensions

MultiBeast installs kexts to /Library/Extensions
