I have done an install from scratch with mountain Lion and Unibeast. I have downloaded the DSDT for my machine, and ran through once with Multibeast. Userdsdt, System Utilities, Voodoo Audio, etc. The only way to get it to boot is to use -x. Otherwise it comes up with the "You must restart your machine" message. With -v, it says :

ACPI_SMC_Platformplugin::initFanThrottleControl - Waiting for appleSMC
No interval found for . using 00000000
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitforservice(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) Timed out
[AGPM Controller] Unknown Platform

I can provide any more information if needed. Thanks!

Get your signature filled out with your chipset, CPU, video & other details. That will make things easier to troubleshoot.

Same issue on Latitude M4400...very similar model but with a higher specced GPU. I think in ML, Apple dropped support for certain video chipsets, and thus the UI will never load on either model. I left my M4400 on 10.7.4. (Or was it 10.6.8? Not sure.)
