Dell Latitude 5480 TB3 hot plug does not work

Few days ago, I clean install the 10.13.1 on my 5480, and the usb3.1 type-c hot plug works fine.

yesterday I got the Dell TB15 (TB3 dock), then TB3 is no hot plug,

I have to plug in before boot, and the type-c on the TB15 is no hot plug, either.

any idea?

Hi,
Could you provide the install process you followed to install osx on your latitude 5480 please.
for instance, if different from that basic unibeast tutorial,
- what were the bios setting you used
- what boot argument you used
- what kext did you have to add
- what connector type you used

I say you post about hd630, but would greatly appreciate broader guidelines.

I'm considering getting this computer and would be happy to have some user feedback.
