Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 WiFi Card Compatibility

I currently have Mac OSX Yosemite installed a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110. Everything is working except for the wireless.

Unfortunately, I have the Intel Centrino Wireless adapter. According to this thread, I need the Dell 1702 Atheros Wireless adapter. Can anyone confirm that this is the correct adapter?
