Motherboard
Inspiron 15 7000 Series 7559
CPU
Intel Quad Core i7-6700HQ
Graphics
HD 530m
My laptop spec i7-6700HQ, Intel HD 530, 4k UHD screen.

I have successfully installed sierra and got it to boot with a dummy ig-platform-id, if i use 0x191b0000 to enable graphics it boots into black screen. I attached a HDMI display to the laptop, looks like the internal display is detected properly and graphics works.

I noticed if i spam click the power button the internal display turns on for a second and I can get a glimpse of the login screen.

Please someone help

Maybe you forgot to patch for pixel clock limitation. Read FAQ.

I used the coredisplay patch form this https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2. the laptop would fail to boot before i patched that. I checked the bios settings, I am using the latest clover bootloader version, tried out different config.plist files from different guides on this laptop.
It would either boot into a black screen not boot at all or the backlight would be on without displaying any picture.
the display is completly dead until i spam the power button which turns the display on and off or if i press ctrl+insert+f7 then it comes up for a brief second and then shuts off. what do you think is turning the display off?

Actually, without the pixel clock patch it should have still booted using an external monitor.

Is DVMT-prealloc set as required? (64mb or greater...)
Note: Your profile seems to be inaccurate.

I used this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305710-guide-intel-hd-graphics-5500-on-os-x-yosemite-10103/ and set my DVMT-prealloc to 96MB.
However my problem is not fixed yet.

this is what i get before it turns black
And touchscreen works I mean if i touch my display i can see the mouse respond to it on my external hdmi display.

Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting"

Also, please fix your profile as per FAQ. Need all hardware details requested.
