I have a dell E7240 with i7-4600U. I am unable to make the graphics card work.

I try various methods but either I need to use -x to enter safe mode or moving out AppleIntelHD5000*.kext out for a normal boot.

It is read as HD4400 with id of 8086:016

The screen is 1920x1080 with touch function.

Help is appreciate.

Install Chameleon and use these flags:
IntelAzulFB=12 GraphicsEnabler=Y dart=0 -v -f UseKernelCache=N

If you have a dual graphics system (see profile request below), you will have additional tasks to accomplish.

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

My model is

System: Dell/E7240
CPU: i7-4600U + Lynx Point-LP
Graphics: HD4400 + 1920x1080 with touch

Will the output from syschk be more useful?

It needs to be in your profile and/or signature such that it shows on each post.

I am not sure of your meaning.

Look under your name/icon on each of your posts. That is your profile. You edit in settings.
