Must be some strange BIOS setting or memory map issue. Try with legacy (read the guide carefully).
Followed the guide again and the usb drive is still not bootable on legacy. Not sure what is going on.
Is there something I can do to fix this memory map issue? Bios settings are just the same as in the guides provided in the forum.

You should try without HFSPlus.efi (VBoxHFS.efi instead) and/or with OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.
Also, you're missing DataHubDxe-64.efi (sometimes needed), and EmuVariableUefi-64.efi (most of the time needed with Skylake)
Tried with VBoxHFS.efi, with both OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi or OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi. Same 2 lines error remain.
Added both DataHubDxe-64.efi and EmuVariableUefi-64.efi to the drivers64UEFI folder and still nothing different happened.

You will need to provide details on what you're doing. What you see in BIOS in the boot menu, the options you used in the Clover installer, the partitioning format of your USB. Show pictures when appropriate.

Provide photos of all your BIOS options and maybe I'll see something...

Photos attached.

I have attached both the boot options for UEFI (which was used to boot into the installer on the single time I was able to do it and go through the installation) and for Legacy (which will not allow me to boot at all).

Thanks.

Those options look to be for legacy...
Does your BIOS show the USB as a legacy boot target?
What happens when you select it?

Boots directly into dell boot assistant, like if there was no boot device.
For UEFI, did you find anything I should fix on the BIOS settings?
If it booted ok once, it makes no sense to me as to why it wouldn't boot ok every time.

Sorry... Responded you without quoting on my last post.

Your BIOS settings were for legacy only.
I think others have said the Option ROM setting must be disabled.

When I was using UEFI, I was only able to boot with OOPROM set to enabled.
What was said in the guide is that this setting varies from laptops to laptops. Some had success with enable and others with disabled.

I think you should try clover legacy model,I have make it success, just need to patch DSDT files now

I did try. But my laptop won't boot the legacy installer created with rehabman's guide.
I will try clover legacy creating with Unibeast. Maybe it'll work.
