D-link DWA182 EL Capitan got it to work flawless

This is awesome, I just had a friend give one of these to me as I've moved into a place with no hard wired connection. Was without online access for a few days but now, thanks to your post I'm back!
 
Did you have the dwa-182A or dwa-182C?
Because I can't get it to work.
