Hey Guys,

Computer building newbie here. I just wanted to double check my shopping list for compatibility even though most of it is from the CustoMac Pro Socket 2011 build. Going to be doing a lot of music production on this, any alternative recommendations are most welcome. I realize these specs might be a bit overkill, but I want to do it up right and be open to expandability in the future.

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 ATX

Processor:
Core i7-4820K

Graphics Card:
EVGA GT 740 SC Dual

RAM:
Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 32GB (8x4)

Power:
Corsair AX 860 Watt ***The recommended one was 760, but this is cheaper and more wattage is better right?

Wifi:
TP-Link PCI Express Wifi Adapter (N)

Case:
[h=5]Fractal Design Define R4 Cases, Black Pearl (FD-CA-DEF-R4-BL)[/h]***This one is a bit bulky width, but when I was considering the cooler master case below it was too small for the recommended Corsair power supply. And bigger is better for a first build anyways. Has removable sound insulation panels for more silence/cooling.
Cooler Master Silencio 652S - Silent Mid Tower Computer Case SIL-652-KKN2

Cooler:
Corsair Hydro Series Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H100i *wondering if this would be a worth while upgrade from the recommended Corsair H60 (water). Since I'm not using the recommended case (less ventilation with panels on) I might need to get some better cooling? Also wondering if this is "slim 240/280mm radiator" as that is what the case says it fits

SSD:
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM) **This is 500GB but the basic build only had 250GB, I assume this wouldn't be an issue

Monitor:
Dell UltraSharp U2414H 24-Inch Screen LED Monitor

Total price ≈ $1,900
