CustoMac Pro - N00b ALC1150 not working

Hi again,

I got the GTX970 going (w00t!) and the ethernet is now working, too. Thanks to the contributions here.

Unfortunately, while there are a lot of discussions on getting audio to work (ALC1150), I can't seem to find any definitive solutions and am currently unsuccessful in getting the audio functioning.

By that I mean the "Sound" control panel shows no audio devices (except my AppleTV, when it's on. )

Any tips or pointers to posts I probably missed would be great.

Also: how do I know if I need to update the motherboard BIOS? (I think this one is F20 - I'll double-check next time I boot.)

Well -- something broke.

When I boot, the Apple logo shows up with the progress bar underneath, but the progress never progresses and the computer never boots.

I'm not sure how to begin troubleshooting.
Same happens if I boot from my USB Unibeast drive that I originally used to install with.

Solved. By enabling "FixUSB", "Inject USB", and "USB Ownership".
