I will be doing a build in September that I'd like to be able to run completely headless. My plan is to have hardware controls on a custom built case that will trigger scripts via arduino. My one hangup is how to do a hardware switch that could choose which disk to boot from (I'll have OSX on one drive and Windows on a separate drive). The arduino would be hooked up via USB. While it would be possible to have the arduino emulate a USB keyboard and send keystrokes to the computer, it would be even nicer to have some way to write custom boot options. That way I could also send messages back to the arduino to provide visual feedback and error messages.

Does this sound like something that Chimera devs might be interested in exploring?
