Hi Guys,

I'm in desperate need of some help here. I just installed ML 10.8 and stuff is working just fine!

I'm running it on a

Gigabyte x58-ud5 F13 rev 1.0
i7 920 @ 3.8 ghz
12 GB 1600 mhz DDR3
EVGA gtx480 1500mb
120GB SSD

I had some trouble, as did some other people, with completing a multibeast install so I used an old Lion Custombeast, which worked and then ran MB 4.6.1 to update Chimera.

Now the only two things I can't get working are CUDA and OpenCL. I need them both since I edit a ****load of video.

OpenCL enabler in Multibeast causes a kernel panic. GPU sniffer is currently telling me: (see screenshot)

CUDA installer tells me: (see screenshot)
CUDA does however install the prefpane and framework but it doesn't work (Cuda-z says no CUDA!). I already tried renaming the file in the framework to no avail.

And the Nvidia Quadro driver says I don't need to install because I already have the latest drivers and the shuts down.

Can some bright mind please help me solve this problem ?!! I want OpenCL and CUDA!!! Thanks guys!

one vital piece of information I forgot to share with you is that the Custombeast I used to install ML was set up for a GTX260.
I know absolutely nothing about dsdt's but could it be that because the gtx260 is in the dsdt that my opencl and Cuda aren't working?

MB 4.6.1's patch for OpenCL kernel panic'ed my system also, but I got OpenCL following Baoren's patch in this thread, 5th post:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/61367-opencl-problem-my-gtx-560-ti-mountain-lion.html

In your GPUSniffer output, you may have forgot to add the GPU name to opencl_supported_cards.txt (in addition to cuda_supported_cards.txt). Sorry, can't help you on CUDA installation failure, I just installed version 5.0.17 on a similar Fermi-based system, and the Premiere Mercury playback and accelerated filters are working:
