Create a "Fusion Drive" on your CustoMac

Clover isn't necessary at all. I just finished setting up a Fusion drive that boots with Chimera. The steps are essentially the same as the RAID-0 guide found here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/lion-desktop-guides/32724-lion-10-7-2-raid-0-tonymacx86-tools-chimera.html
except instead of creating a RAID partition, you substitute the steps in post 1 of this thread to create a CoreStorage logical volume group and partition. Chimera's boot0, boot1h, and boot files are manually installed into the hidden diskXs3 "Boot OS X" partition on both drives, along with /Extra. The UUID of the Fusion volume goes in the kernel flags in org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

I realized that this should solve my problem. The only thing is I can no longer boot in to the OS. That worked once. I reinstalled to see if that would lead me down the same path, and no luck. Just goes back to the install routine...

Grrr... I don't want to give up yet, but my wife needs her new machine. I am going to punt for now and go back and try again at another date. :(

Yes!

I successfully created and booted on my Fusion Drive using Clover. Thanks to sirenum and mrengles!!!

The only thing that do not work is my bluetooth usb adapter. It was working fine before. I used the ath3k-firmware-uploader.
Is it because I need to move the Extra folder to the "Boot OS X" partition?

@toshikun

must be started under windows or a windows installation dvd, usb and deleted disk partitions drive fusion

This will destroy all data on two hard drives

on my Z77X-UP5TH with 1 120 GB SSD + 1 HDD 160 G0 + 1 320 GB HDD that has worked very well

I tried with my probook with 1 SSD + 1 HDD 120 GB 500 GB
I can not start without using a USB key to boot unibeast

probook brand is the start that there is no system of operating system installed on the computer

or displays an error boot0

I did the same thing as the office tower and this is not booted

it will be easier when you have a chimera installer compatible boot drive fusion

on a real mac is the same procedure as the first page but you must not install CLOVER OR CHIMERA, the boot must be native on a real mac

Enable Trim for SSD

try diskutil cs delete A7981AD1-31FC-446F-9D16-0F32FB9A6EAB
The UUID is for the Logical Volume Group.
