I have a running Yosemite 10.10.5 installation using Chimera.

I wanted to see if the system would boot using Clover so I created a Clover/Yosemite test USB using Unibeast 6.1.1

The machine boots OK but only in low graphics mode. I have nVidia Web Drivers installed and selected but using the test USB it will only boot with low (slow) graphics mode.

I have looked at the Clover configuration Graphics Injector Menu:

Untitled-111.jpg

I have ticked all boxes individually and all together but the system still boots with low quality graphics.

Is there anything else I can try? It's putting me off trying Clover as my boot method.

My machine specification is in my profile.

One week bump

Anyone :?:

After installing the web drivers, are you booting with nvda_drv=1?

Yes, when I boot from the installed SSD, this problem only happens when I boot from the Clover USB drive.

When I boot from the main SSD using Chimera my Yosemite installation works without any errors, I only created the Clover USB drive to test if my hardware could boot using Clover.

Can you post your config.plist from your USB drive?

Sure:

You were injecting intel in the graphics section of your config.plist.. Try this one View attachment 163495

I have replaced the .plist but the problem is not resolved, the machine still boots with low quality graphics.

This is a screen-shot of my desktop when booting from the Clover/El Cap USB test drive:

Screen Shot 2015-11-22 at 11.49.06 copy.jpg

As can be seen the Nvidia Web Driver is selected however mouse pointer movement is jerky and the screen refresh rate is very slow. Also when I look into System Preferences/Displays my monitor is not recognised and is described as a '32" Monitor'

This is a screen-shot of my desktop when I boot into Yosemite from my main SSD:

Screen Shot 2015-11-22 at 11.53.42 copy.jpg

The machine runs great with perfect graphics using the Nvidia Web Driver and in System Preferences/Displays my monitor is correctly identified as a 'BenQ GW2760'.

Any other ideas I can try?

I'm still stuck, anyone else?
