Just finished upgrading a system thats nearly 3 years old..Really weird but figured I'd post up here to see what ya'll think. This is a rebuild of a system .Its GA-Z97X-UD7 TH / i7 4790K / 32GB / GTX Titan 6gb. I simply changed my case to the new Thermaltake P5 open air case, had 10.12.1 working beautifully but for whatever reason after moving all my components to the new water cooled case the Titan Video card stopped working? I tried everything I could think of but nothing would keep the system up and stable.. In fact after changing my smbios to every imaginable config ,rewriting my config.plist repeatedly, and unplugging everything but the essentials (12 hours of testing) I finally said let me try swapping the Titan card with my windows box 980 TI, of course it worked after reinstalling the latest web drivers ? Anyone have a clue as to why this would happen?
I tried swapping the Titan back in thinking maybe a reset would do the trick but it will no longer boot in this new case ? It works perfectly in the windows box? the card appears fine?

If all you have done is to Transfer the System to a new Case [whatever it could be] and not changed your Monitor , not done anything else on your Hard disk, Monitor cable, or its connection, the only thing I can think of causing the issue is your BIOS Options ,especially related to your Video [BIOS> Peripherals menu].
When you Power Off to remove your MoBO and all the devices connected to it, all your prior CMOS settings are gone.
In the new Case , when you boot your system for the first time, you have to perform a F-7 to upload Default BIOS, Change the Year Month Date and Time for your Region, and choose all the Prior boot options that worked with your prior hardware and and make sure your Boot flags reflect the Video Card you have selected in your BIOS options. If any of these steps are missed you can have the problem you described.

I did plug my data devices in randomly and removed 2 BR DVD burners? Never hit reset cos to delete anything and the pre configured bios settings remained in effect ?
Whats strange is even after removing all settings and traces of the Titan card to put in the 980TI then doing the same again to try and get it running with the Titan again still couldn't boot with out disabling accelerated GRFX ?

OK I may have spoke too soon.. I am encountering random freeze ups where my mouse any keyboard are useless, on a couple occasions I was able to unplug and re plug to get working again but now the system reboots ? I find it happens more than coincidentally when I click on my downloaded folder or application folder in the dock, which would lead me to believe its still a video card / nvidia issue? ugggg. any ideas ?

Have you verified that the BIOS has reset itself? Verify that you have implemented native power management and AppleLPC has loaded. Attach ioreg. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg | tonymacx86.com

Heres my IO? Not sure what Im looking for. But maybe you can show me :)
And when its not a crash the mouse just disappears, but if I unplug it and plug it back in, Im back up and running ?
