Hi all,

I finally finished my hackingtosh, meaning getting my nVidia drivers to work on Sierra together with Tunderbolt 3 and such.
But now i am importing my lightroom catalog and within a second my CPU skyrocketed from a steady 30 degree's to 85+
When closing lightroom it needed only 2 seconds to cool down. Also while running it jumped from second to second form 60, to 80 to 50, to 70 and so on.

The Corsair software is of course not ready for Mac, but what i think needs to be done is the pump needs to be running a solid full power. (this is not the case on the windows installation but the software there is smart enough to be variable.
and the fans need to adjust on temp to get it right.

Anybody any experience?

have you tried setting up the pump and fan profile in your BIOS? As I have an ASUS mobo, I usually have set my system fans to a silent profile. Also have you tested your CPU power management? Check with Intel Power Gadget if your CPU runs at lower clock at idle.
