Apple never produced a laptop with an i3. This is how it is... you just pick the closest (i5).

DSDT is not involved in power management, so I didn't look at it.

When I boot with my dsdt the CPU frequency is always at max. Withould dsdt it is fine. What to do? I would need to use the DSDT because withoult it I have a 2-3 sec delay at boot 'cos of "unknown CPU"

You talk about DSDT but then attach an SSDT?
SSDT is not the same as DSDT.
What are you actually doing?
And what laptop do you have?

Uh, sorry, true, I wanted to write SSDT instead of DSDT.
I have a Desktop, and my profile page is filled out.
GA H170N-WIFI, i7 6700, GTX 950

My problem is:
When I boot without my SSDT, I have a delay of 2-3 seconds and a warning:
Code:
WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUTil : getCPUIDInfo ; this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a
---power management may be incomplete or unsupported

If I use my SSDT downloaded, or even generated by me with ssdtprcgen, then I boot 2-3 secs faster, and I also don't have the warning to the unknown CPU. BUT the CPU frequency is always at 90 - 100% even when idle. (yes I checked the running processes)

sorry for my English, hope it is comprehensible enough
