Hi,
My rig: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/142012-success-ga-z87x-ud5h-i7-4770k-32gb-10-9-5-uk.html

Whenever I run a game or a heavy process, my CPU goes up to 80 and keeps pushing up towards 100 at which point I force quit to save my CPU. I installed Corsair H60 Water Cooling today, which helped, but it still goes up to 80-90 after a while, it just takes a little more time than before. My CPU is set to 3.7Ghz in the BIOS, but is a 3.5Ghz CPU. Should I go into my BIOS settings and set it back to 3.5? It was 3.7 by default when I opened the BIOS for the first time.

I just don't want to fry my rig. Maybe I need a GPU.

Any advice appreciated!

If you are going to game, then yes a gpu would be helpful. Not sure if it resolve all of the issues but will take the graphics drawing load off of your cpu.
