Hi all,
My hackintosh is based on GA-H77N-WIFI with i5 3570k (no OC).
I have it set up as dual Sierra/Win10 setup.
On win10 the cpu speed on idle is around 1400rpm.
For some reason in Sierra, under the same conditions, fan speed is only 930-950rpm, and as such the core temps are 3-5 degrees higher.
I cannot get fan control to work under HWMonitor or other software. Fan speed is automatically adjusted but lower than on Win10.
Fan is connected to the m/b CPU_FAN header and BIOS setting is on NORMAL.
Any ideas why this is happening?
