Ok
So I got this strange issue happening

got Mojave installer to boot using unibeast 9.2 (clover 4920)

Installed Mojave
Installed clover through multibeast

When I boot from the main drive I keep getting : error 0x118e couldn’t allocate runtime area

I get it with both : Samsung 970 Pro and Sabrent Rocket drive PCI-e 3

I have installed only the necessary kexts using the hack tool ( following this guide ->https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...m-bazooka-vega-56-catalina-compatible.266512/ )

Troubleshooting steps I’ve tried:
starting from this guide —>https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-couldnt-allocate-runtime-area.226891/

I have read all the threads I could find on this and other forums, regarding the stated error and tried all the proposed solutions

Tried each variant of OSXaptiofix, including the free-2000

Tried the above steps on BIOS V1, V12 and V17

Tried clover version with emulated nvram 4961
Tried customised version of clover 5071

Tried switching Ram Sticks
Tried with a Samsung 860 SATA SSD
Tried removing the WiFi card
Tried the recommended BIOS settings in both these threads :

results are always the same

booting the system using the unibeast key works

booting the system from the main drive doesn’t

I ‘even tried updating clover on the unibeast key and it works !

which is crazy !

I’ve also tried creating a Catalina usb installer but it gets stuck with the same exact error.

Tried Slide 0
Tried disabling IGPU

Is there a way I could troubleshoot the clover bootloader ?

Or is there another way I can troubleshoot this installer ?

booting the system using the unibeast key works
booting the system from the main drive doesn’t
Simple, replace the /EFI folder on the EFI partition of the hard drive with the one from the USB.
