Could This Be The Next WLAN+Bluetooth Combo Card For 2013 MacBooks?

where to buy the cable and the pcie board?

I bought an Mini PCIe extender cable that I soldered onto the Apple card (taken from an iMac 2012). WIFI + Bluetooth is working, however if I connect the USB ports (D+ and D-) to the USB header, my system can't sleep anymore - it goes to sleep only to wake up about a second after that. Did anyone else mess around with original combo cards?

iMac 2013 card BCM94360CD (WIFI + Bluetooth) is working perfectly on GA-EP45-UD3P and GA-EX58-UD5, however Bluetooth refuses to work on GA-Z87MX-D3H.

Silver Wings, which motherboard are you using?

This is not NGFF slot.

Apple uses a proprietary connector - is not compatible with NGFF ...

I have the experience of connecting modules from Apple to the mini PCI-Express.

Skvo,

First thanks for posting the great information, I too am looking to use the Apple mPCIE Custom WiFi + Bluetooth and your the only person I can see on the internet with information.

I will be using the BCM94331CD as it is cheaper and I have few a questions.

1) Where did you get the mPCIE card that you used for soldering?
2) Does Bluetooth run on PCIE bus like WiFi or would I need to take USB_D-/USB_D+ and run to a USB header?
3) Does this enable both the WiFi and the Bluetooth in OSX?
4) Would Windows be able to see both WiFi and Bluetooth as well?

5) Do you provide a service to charge people to make the cable? i.e. could you make it and send it to me and I would cover the cost of parts + your fee?

Thanks

Jonny

You think this will work in real iMac 27" late 2009?
I try use AzureWave Broadcom DCM94352HMB/BT4.0 half mini PCI-e card, and wifi recolonize but Bluetooth no show in my system information.
If you have chance to test in any iMac please let me know.
Thanks

BCM94360CD is not a Key M NGFF connector?

Greetings!
I have a problem with BCM94331CD. I have ordered a mPCIe to PCIEx1 adapter with usb. I have soldered connection from BCM94331CD from pinouts like Skvo told but I have only working wifi, bt is not found. Is there anything more to do? Someone have the same problem?
