Hey Guys,

now my Hackintosh is running on 10.6.7 but if I
click "about this mac" it says "2 GHz Intel core i5".
I have an Intel i5, but the 750 with 2,67 Ghz not 2,0.

P.S: it was the same with 10.6.6 :banghead:

any suggestions??

thanks in advance
peter

Mine is showing the correct CPU and speed (i5-750). I selected the Macpro3,1 in system definition under multibeast.

Check your BIOS to confirm that it is reporting running at it's fully 2.67GHz. Try load optimized default and have the ensure the required OSX setting as AHCI and HPET64/S3

Thank you very much!! in the bios i had to set something with the cpu to 20x
now it is how it should be! :D

Each time you flash your bios, that 20x will reset back to something lower, but now you know what to do...
