Hi, i've been trying to get Snow Leopard to install on an Intel Core 2 Duo Machine, specifically this Acer model: http://acersupport.com/acerpanam/desktop/0000/Acer/AspireM3600/AspireM3600sp2.shtml
Instead of the onboard graphics, i'm using a Nvidia GT430 PCI-E card.

I was able to initially install successfully with no issues from the Snow Leopard 10.6.3 DVD (using iboot legacy), however after installing the 10.6.8 update and running MultiBeast 3.10.1 for the first time, with just the EasyBeast option for now (using this guide: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.co.uk/2010/04/iboot-multibeast-install-mac-os-x-on.html) it will no longer boot, instead I get the following kernel panic:

The OS will still boot to 10.6.8 in safe mode (just -x).

Here's the contents of my Extra Folder as it is now (I tried some other options in MultiBeast, but still had no luck):

What do I need to do to get it booting normally?

What system definition did you select in MultiBeast? You should be using MacPro3,1 given your hardware.

Ahhh, I was using 5.1 xD I shall alter that & see if it works.

It boots! thank you :) I thought the System definition was just a cosmetic thing, spoofing what stuff shows up in the 'About this Mac' page.
