Any idea what is going wrong and where to start ?

If you are able to, have you tried formatting the USB stick with OSX?

Unfortunately its an NTFS drive with around 1,5 TB data which I like to transfer to HFS drive :)

As far as google tells me its not a mackintosh issue.

You should be able to at least read from it but you can't write to an NTFS drive natively under OSX. You will need something like Paragon NTFS for OSX to do that.

Already tried , same error, I think its due to some file and folder names names.

It is possible:

I am now trying to zip the folder and copy those, seams to work so far :)

What a mess, looks like I have to compress them under windows :/

Using
Code:
dot_clean <foldername>
seams not work :crazy::ch:

[solved]

So guys,
here a little update :)

Yesterday I tried to copy the files using Win8 (i know :silent:)
The funny thing is that the error also appeared there , so it was NOT a OS X issue.

I solved it by copying the files using XYPlorer (it lets you even calculate folder sizes) which asks you if you want to copy files even while the "extended attributes"

Looks like that the Explorer and Finder can't del with those "extended attributes".

Have a nice day
