Hello, I'm working on getting a list of parts for my first build and I was wondering if I should include an aftermarket cooler for the processor. I have heard that the one that comes with the 2600k is not very good. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

If you plan to OC your CPU, look into a cooler. Stock won't do it. Corsair H60 is a pretty good one.

I'm just finishing my build, I used the Antec Kuhler h20 and my 2500K is currently sitting at about 26 Celsius for what it's worth. :) It's a bit of a pain to install but was quite worth it. :D

Alright thanks I'll take a look at the Noctua and the 212+. the loudness of coolers is not as big of a concern for me as I am very used to hearing my computer run (I was using a PPC G3 tower for a while, a rather noisy machine)
