Converting Acer Predator helios 300 into hackintosh

Hello guys ! I have a acer predator helios 300 , which I use for productivity . There are some applications which are macOS only and I want to run them , so I have this laptop as a spare one and was thinking that would the components of this machine would be compatiable with a hackintosh .Specs-

CPU 7th Gen Intel® Core™i7-7700HQ

NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050TI

8GB ddr4 ram

1tb+128gb SSD.

I'm trying to do the same, i have a gtx1060 instead of 1050Ti, the deal is to disable the nvidia graphics card during the installation and later on install the nvidia web driver. still a newbie with hackintosh but i think this should work to a certain extent

Nvidia web driver? I don't think there are any Nvidia 10 series compatible drivers for macOS. The deal with most people is to just disable the dGPU outright and only use the integrated intel HD graphics.

With the keyboard and trackpad, you'd have to first install a PS2 drivers and then depending on your touchpad driver, you can make it work with all the touch gestures as well.

As for audio, do you know what kind of audio chipset you have?
Assuming it's Realtek of some sort, and that you still have the original Windows laying around, you can go to the Realtek HD Audio Manager, press in information icon on the bottom right corner and it should tell you your "ALC" version.
I got the audio working on mine by just searching it up on youtube and installing the one click driver.

Thanks for the info, keyboard and trackpad working (without gestures) gna try the audio, yea it's dual boot. So i still have windows, but cant get it to boot without the usb, i dont mind that also. Unibeast fails to install anything on the drive.
Tied to find the ALC version of my audio chipset but i couldnt find it in windows.. everything says Realtek high definition audio and thats all bnw, for the trackpad to work i had to set it to basic mode in the bios). Got some package to get my phone tethering internet to the hackintosh as the wireless card is not compatible, so things are doing fine not bad. Need that audio to work tho

You won't find it in device manager. It has to be through the Realtek HD Audio Manager which you can get to by typing in a search.

Tried for quite a while nothing worked. I had to clean HDD and get back to the windows.

I have same laptop with i5-7300HQ variant. I have successfully setup Sierra 10.12.6 with dual boot Windows 10. May be I can help if you are still interested.
